a passion into a business
IT ALL STARTS HERE
an endless search for the latest tunes, a passion for the oldskool to deep house with a dash of entertainment delivering value to housemusic fans, producers and dj's alike.
There’s more about ‘me’ on the next page but I will start with saying that I am not a DJ or a Producer and also really don’t have any direct connection with the house music world other than being a massive fan. That’s lead me to build some social media profiles as a hobby over the years, then to the here and now and hoping to make a business out of it that adds value to the modest amount of followers we have at this point in our journey.
The vision for The Playlist DJ’s (subject to change), is to be a hub for DJ’s, Producers and Fans alike. A place to be entertained by housemusic through memes and mash up video’s and a place to find great content along with useful, valuable content like DJ Courses and Marketing and Promotional Courses to help you in your career.
I have a background in digital marketing which is where I can offer help in that area.
The music we share is mainly deephouse in nature. We don’t really do EDM as such, that said, we love sharing oldskool. Our two main Spotify Playlist’s are deephouse (with over 3,000 tracks to date), and oldskool with over 600 tracks.
We update our playlists on an almost daily basis using Spotify’s Discover Weekly tool and their New Release Radar tool.
We also populate playlists on Soundcloud and dip into Mixcloud, Bandcamp and Twitch too. You can connect with The Playlist DJ’s here on social media and follow our playlists here.
The site is just new as at March 2021 but we have been going on social since about 2013 if not before. It’s going to be an exciting journey – lets see where we all get to on our musical travels together!

house music hunting
One of the key premises and drivers behind The Playlist DJ’s is finding new music. Paradoxically, that music might be old, but it’s a new find. If it’s good it gets added to our Deep House Playlist or Oldskool Playlist (and maybe some others).
From here, we tend to share the best tracks on our Social Media Pages.
If you have a new track or mix you want us to hear or share we have a shoutout service right now which has a nice introductory rate until our audience is a bit larger. Check out our Shout Out Service and contact us if you’re interested in moving forward. At the time of writing we have over 30,000 Social Media followers mainly on Instagram and TikTok.
We’re also open to collab ideas – perhaps you might want to do a mini-mix for the page.
Whatever it might be we’re always happy to discuss opportunites.
