In this post, we are going to look at the best Twitter pages for DJ’s and Producers to follow. We will look at 10 different accounts. Best Accounts for DJ’s to Follow…
1 – DJ Kit UK
We’ve followed @DJKITUK on Instagram for a while now but you can check them out here on Twitter. There’s no surprise as to what they do…’The beat deals on DJ equipment online and in their showroom. On their site you will find amps, CDJs, Carts, Decks, Cases, Controllers, Flight cases, Headphones, Lighting, Microphones, Music Production, Mixers, Speakers and Stands. Check them out and drop them a follow on Twitter.
2 – DJ Mag
DJ Mag have been around since 1991 and are one of the big boys in the Space. We used to buy their magazines back in the day from RS McColl newspaper shop in Scotland (they used to have a cover CD from what we recall). They were always stacked alongside the Mixmag Mags etc. Head to their Twitter page to check out their content promoting the latest DJ’s in the world of dance / house and other genres.
3 – DJ City
DJ City pitches itself as Music and News on its Twitter page which is a little more simple than it suggests. If you hop over to their website you will see that it’s a leading music discovery + delivery platform for DJ’s around the globe. Head their for your music, playlists and and their DJCity TV station .
4 – Digital Dj Tips
The world’s largest online DJ and music production school, dedicated to helping you become better DJs and DJ/producers, according to their bio. Sounds good to us, so get over there and check them out by clicking the image above.
5 – DJ Tech Tools
The #1 resource for DJ technology, digital DJ tips, tutorials, and news about DJ controllers and devices. Get over to their website too where they have a bustling forum with over 150,000 members.
6 – Point Blank
Award-winning music school with courses in London, LA, Ibiza, Mumbai & online. Voted “Best Music Production & DJ School” – DJ Mag.
Point Blank are a behemoth in the music production world. Not only that they have DJ courses too, so that ticks two boxes for this blog post.
7 – Toolroom Records / Academy
Toolroom did start their Toolroom Academy Twitter page but seem to hace left it in-active since then so I am linking off to their main page which of course is very active with 104,000 followers. The academy is flying at the moment and you should check it out if you’re in the market for housemusic production.
8 – Ableton Live
They make Live, Push & Link; software and hardware for music creation & performance. They’re based in Berlin, Pasadena & Tokyo and are one of the daddy’s of music production. Click the image above to hook into their Twitter content.
